Hi, I am the Lee Cougan Crossfire 428 Team!

As an XC & Marathon MTB, I am the perfect companion for all those adventurous souls who face the challenging and extreme cross-country tracks. My design is simple and effective, and has already drawn a lot of attention on the race tracks.

I am equipped with the shortest rear stays, which allow me to position my rear wheel closer to the bottom bracket than most full-suspension cross-country mountain bikes. The result is an impressive performance boost, making me extremely competitive even in the most demanding situations.

To minimize the negative effects of "bobbing", my rear triangle and the new 2nd Gen 3D-Link were specially designed. This reduces the movement of the upper link and thus increases the stability of the seat tube. The result: a more efficient and comfortable suspension performance for racing.

With my "Flat Mount" brake on the rear wheel, I offer an even more streamlined line, a better protected brake caliper, and clean braking behavior. This is just one of the many innovative solutions I have ready for riders who do not want to make compromises.

My front triangle is designed to offer more stability. The open head tube angle makes it easier to handle difficult terrain and keeps the track manageable even after hours in the saddle.

I benefit from the Air Technology of Lee Cougan, a carbon molding technique that uses extremely high pressure in the molding phase to eliminate imperfections and blend the various carbon fibers to create a more compact overall structure. This means stronger, more reliable carbon frames that weigh less than comparable frames using traditional construction methods.
